With personal appraisal rolling in from the likes of David Guetta and Axwell, German Progressive House force Inpetto have entwined some of clubland’s most powerful moments with a delicate approach to timeless melody. Where previous Cr2 release ‘Move’ featuring the familiar vocal stylings of Max C set the tone for a future of well-oiled gems at the hands of brothers Dirk and Marco Duderstadt, their output of acclaimed remixes for such outfits as ATB, Robbie Rivera and Fragma has established the duo one of the industry’s most supple collectives to date. For their follow-up to 2011’s ‘Move’, this feel-good anthem encapsulates an energy that derives away from the familiar moody blues of winter, setting a canvas of Progressive beats and prancing synth play to deal a positive blow of euphoric vibes left right and centre. In an industry faced with countless repetitions and recycled riffs, their homecoming to Cr2 spells creative and energetic club fuel at its finest, suggesting that these supportive stars of modern dance music really aren’t just blowing smoke where this German act are concerned.
‘No More Serious Faces’ is out now.
